Big Bear Ridge Run History

Race Ready Trail Series Final

The south side of the lake, where the 2nd Annual Ridge Run takes place, has a 25 year history of racing.

Team Big Bear has been producing events on the south side of Big Bear Lake for 25 years from Mountain Bike World Cups to National level races, as well as Xterras. The racing history is rich and will continue to get richer with the 2nd Annual Big Bear Ridge Run.

In 2012 125 runners participated in the three distances of the inaugural Ridge Run event. Race Ready Trail Run Series awards were presented in all age groups, male and female.

The single distance loop for both the 24 miler and 13 miler will remain very similar to 2012. The one change we hope to add is 4-7 miles of single track that is currently being built along Forest Service Road 2N10.

The 10 K out and back will remain the same.
